Video-conferencing giant Zoom is set to start its Zoom Phone service in India. The company has obtained a pan-India Unified License with Access from the government of India which now enables the company to offer cloud-based phone service to businesses in the South Asian country.
The Department of Telecommunications (Dot) issued All/PAN India, NLD, and ILD license to the company which has made its name largely for providing a video conferencing platform.
In India, Zoom Phone will offer its cloud PBX application to India’s multinational companies (MNCs) allowing them to have a unified communication platform to connect with their global network.
