Airtel Fraud Detection can block scams online in real-time
Airel says that its Fraud Detection system is able to identify and block websites and scams in real time. And the good thing is that it’s not exclusive to one type of app. The tool works on OTT apps, browsers, Facebook, Instagram, SMS, Telegram, etc.
So, when a user tries to access a website deemed malicious, the system redirects them to a warning page and tells the user the reason for its blocking.
Another good thing is that Airtel has rolled out this security feature to all of its customers for free. Also, there’s no need on the users’ part to install any extra apps or activate the system. It works by default.
