Major internet outage related to Amazon Web Service

The global internet space has witnessed a major outage today, starting at 7 AM UK time. The disruption includes mobile banking services, apps, websites, and productive platforms such as Canva. We have more below.

The outage has been linked to an issue at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

What is Amazon Web Services?

You may not have heard of this- Amazon Web Services. But in the internet landscape, it’s one of the biggest things. It is a cloud service that AWS describes as the most comprehensive in the world, which provides companies with access to servers and databases.

The company leverages this facility to run its services. They don’t have to use physical infrastructure of their own, thanks to AWS’s cloud services.
