But it’s not just the wide internet outage making headlines; it’s the notifications. Users of the BadeSaba prayer app have received multiple notifications promising safety for people who stand against the current Iranian regime. One of the notifications read that the current rulers will “pay for their cruel and merciless actions against the innocent people of Iran.” It must be understood that the app was hacked before sending uncalled-for messages to the users.

Doug Madory, the director of internet analysis at Kentik, has said that the internet status dropped to almost zero levels after the US-Israel started missile attacks on Iran on Saturday morning. Corroborating this further, Networking firm Cloudflare also confirmed that Iran’s internet collapsed in the aftermath of the ongoing warfare.
The suspicions have been pointed at the US and Israelis behind the cyberattacks in an effort to limit the Iranian response that has been in power since the 1989 revolution.
