Going forward, PTA is also installing free WiFi hotspots at select universities, which are recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for women-only institutions. The regulator is cooperating with PTCL, Transworld, Nayatel, Cybernet, and Wateen to deploy WiFi hotspots, which it aims to facilitate students for online learning courses.
